This show is pretty cool. I like the attention to detail given to the architecture and various settings, the artwork is very easy on the eyes👍🏼

I don't know if this is how it went down in the manga or if this pacing is just to fit the 12 episode format. But the characters do some sudden stupid stuff for no reason. Vermeil flat out said she knows what the professor guy is doing (didn't even tell Alto first) and yet she let her guard down TWICE while walking away from him, even when he was clearly following behind her.

I have a feeling that the overdose of power is making her start to lose her mind and is slowly burning away their contract.

I'm watching this 7 months after your comment & I feel the same. This anime is its own worst enemy. Characters do dumb stuff just for the sake of having some conflict. The writers didn't even try to put effort into this incident either.
